It’s no contest. Kamagong is one of the hardest wood while rattan is a type of jungle vine, more flexible but not harder.

For sure Kamagong is a kind of hard wood that you can make it into different shape; for furniture, house, etc. and rattean is vine that’s used also to make furniture but its malleable to form. When it comes to your question, which is stronger, I think of the ooposite….maybe I am correct or I satisfied your question.
